I volunteered at my local hospital and saw this old couple; a man sat in a chair, holding his wife’s hand on the bed and I heard her say,
“Promise you won’t waste your last years missing me when I’m gone, Bill?” and he smiled and said,
“Sure. Promise you won’t blame me when I break it?”

I was wearing a short sleeved shirt for the first time in years. I was nervous that when my boyfriend saw my scars he wouldn’t want to be with me anymore.
Instead he kissed my scars, and told me that if I ever felt bad enough to hurt myself again, that he would take the pain instead.

When I was 16, I got pregnant.
When I told my boyfriend, he stayed with me. He put up with me, even when I screamed about how I hated my life, wanted to die or blame him for everything.
In my 8th month, I told him to get out. He still came to hold my hand when I delievered, and to stay to get up with her at night. His LGMH.

I invited my crush to my house and was rejected.
I called my best friend and told him what happened. Twenty minutes later, he called back and said “go outside”. It was midnight and raining. I looked outside to see him soaking wet, shivering, and holding flowers.
We are still together. His love GMH.

I was sick and couldn’t sleep and was afraid that I was keeping my husband awake. I told him that I would sleep in the living room since he had to go to work in the morning.
He picked up my blankets and pillows and joined me in the living room because he didn’t want me to sleep alone. His LGMH.

Lately my dad has been really angry and distant, and i feel like it’s just wearing my mom down.
I went home to visit today and found a journal in the bathroom. Opening it up, I realized that each day my dad writes a brand new thing he loves about my mom and leaves it for her to read.

Today I found out my boyfriend gave up dairy products because I am extremely allergic to them. He wanted to be able to kiss me without worrying about hurting me.

I lost a very special necklace given to me by my 17 yo. boyfriend. I felt sick over it as it was so sentimental. Months later, my boyfriend found it in the cushion of our sofa. Only years later did I discover that he had saved up money to have an identical replica made so he could ‘find it’ for me and I would no longer feel so bad.

I was in class one day when my boyfriend, who had been deployed for two years, came walking into the classroom. I had no idea he was back in the States. I’ve never cried harder in my life then I did when I saw him walk in. As I was hugging him, he got down on one knee and proposed to me. We’re getting married in the fall.

Okay, so I thought I wouldn’t like Winter Formal…but hell, it was so fun. I went with three of my friends and we literally just danced all night long.
I personally find Winter Formal so much better than Homecoming. Homecoming’s just…eh. x)
